Our firm is searching for a competent and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the construction and installation department and the efficacy of the overall program to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for ensuring continuous quality improvement within the facility. Quality Manager Responsibilities and Duties
• Improves the reliability of photovoltaics construction and installation processes
• Promotes and maintains quality, safety, and environmental standards among company personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Reviews products, processes, and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
• Controls the project building process to ensure quality
• Actively participates in team meetings with the manufacturing team.
• Collects, scan and upload documents following set procedures.
• Ensures all technical documents, such as reports, drawings, and blueprints, are collected and registered in the system.
• Uses Document Management for everyday operations, maintenance, and quality control.
Quality Manager Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or similar field.
• 5+ years’ quality management experience
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of calibration and the ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of Document Management and document capture/image capture systems
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in document or records management. A quality auditor experience is preferable.
• Experience working with many file types.
• Ability to find and preserve paper documents.
• A profound understanding of construction documents
• Impeccable communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Able to manage time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team leader
• Valid driving license.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish) speaking skills.
